A Letter To Louise
I designed this book as a gift for my wife on our paper wedding anniversary. It was written by her grandfather over the course of 30+ years from the birth of his first grandchild until the time of his death and tells the story of his life from his childhood in New Zealand to his years spent as a naval pilot during World War II. It was designed according to classic design systems for beautiful typographic proportion, balance and symmetry.

Who the fuck is TMA?
I was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand and studied at AUT graduating with a Bachelor of Graphic Design, majoring in Illustration. After spending some time working as a freelancer I landed a job at Hook design studio working across various print disciplines. In 2007 I moved to London and began working at Tribal DDB London as a Junior Designer. After taking to digital in a big way I was promoted within months and have since made it to the position of Interactive Art Director.
